VIENNA, 7 October (UN Information Service) - The Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Yury Fedotov, today warmly welcomed the signing of a renewed and strengthened Joint Action Plan between the Vienna-based UN organization and Japan.
New articles are included in the Joint Action Plan dedicated to following up on the UN General Assembly special session (UNGASS) on the world drug problem and corruption as well as the specific outcomes from the G-7 Summit in Japan.
