Following the reading of the Secretary-General's message, it is planned that statements be made by representatives of the Host Country, the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, the International Coordinating Committee for NGOs on the Question of Palestine, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the League of Arab States and the Permanent Observer of Palestine to the United Nations (Vienna).

The annual observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is requested by resolution 32/40 of the United Nations General Assembly.
